Making Money and Helping Friends Shop
I am an avid online shopper and I think it is great when I can suggest an online store to a friend in order to purchase great merchandise. I usually do this just to help a friend, but many companies have started to use referral program ideas. Using this concept, they reward me for spreading their business to my friends and relatives. I have heard that large companies give similar incentives for employees, but I am more than satisfied with small gift cards and discounts for referring a friend. It is completely ethical because I am only referring a friend to a good product that I would have suggested even without financial benefit. My friends often get a small discount too by listing my name when they place the order, making in a perfect purchase for everyone involved. The company gets additional sales, I get coupons, and my friend gets a discounted item. All in all, companies should use referral program ideas.
